In the modern era, due to the huge demand for this formulation, its large scale preparation in the pharmaceutical industry is done by using machines such as the Pulp extraction machine and Mawa frying machine. In Ayurveda text i.e. in the traditional method, this preparative procedure utilizes manpower. There is a difference in applied force as well as the frequency of friction between Chyawanprash prepared by the pharmacy method and the traditional method making the traditional preparation method more superior to the pharmacy method. The traditional method uses comparatively lesser sugar, more utilization of all the 54 ingredients in the proper ratio, unlike large scale productions that do not include all these in the preparation to reduce the cost of the product.
